About

My name is Snethemba Gwambe, a Counselling Psychologist based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across a range of mental health and educational settings. My professional background includes experience in psychiatric hospital settings, Student Support Counselling Centres and private practice.

These experiences have provided me with valuable insight into the complexities of mental health, human development and the diverse challenges individuals may encounter throughout their lives. I adopt a collaborative, compassionate and client-centred approach, tailoring psychological support to meet each person’s unique needs and goals.

I currently work in private practice, where I provide psychological assessments and therapy to children, adolescents and adults. My aim is to create a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their experiences, navigate challenges, and work towards meaningful growth and psychological well-being.
